Who Are We?
Peabody Lions Charities, a community service organization, assists area residents with vision and sensory impairments. This includes providing equipment, resources, and services such as vision & glaucoma screenings, eye glasses, assistive technology, magnifiers, scholarships, and social/recreational activities. The Peabody Lions Charities also provides needed community support in the following Lions Global Service areas: Vision, Diabetes, Hunger, Environment, Youth, Childhood Diseases, and Humanitarian Causes.

Our Mission
THE LIONS MISSION Lions, the world's largest service-club organization was established in 1917 to empower volunteers to serve their communities. Lions plan local projects to support and enhance their communities to build, repair, support, and share, and have fun while doing it! In 1925, Helen Keller deemed the Lions to be the "Knights of the Blind" with a mission to eradicate blindness. Lions also meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. “Where There’s A Need, There’s A Lion!”
