Northeast Arc, Inc.

Northeast Arc's Peabody-based programs include the ArcWorks Community Art Center at 22 Foster Street and several residences. The goal of NeArc is to ensure that children and adults with disabilities are able to live, work, engage in civic life and play in the community. We work toward that goal by providing programs and services through our Residential, Day Service, Family Support and Administrative Divisions. Services include early intervention, a day care and preschool, advocacy, school to work transition services, vocational training, job placement, day habilitation, autism support, recreational programs, an art program, family support, personal care assistance and residential homes for our neighbors with disabilities. At Northeast Arc we help people live their best possible lives from birth to end-of-life.

Peabody Education Foundation

The Peabody Education Foundation provides unique programs and advanced technology to thousands of students who might otherwise not enjoy such experiences due to budget constraints. Our programs are intended to benefit and guide children as they develop into successful citizens and leaders. With the support of the community, we are able to continue offering programs to encourage creativity and inspiration in Peabody’s students.

Peabody Historical Society and Museum

Founded in 1896, the Peabody Historical Society & Museum is a center for the preservation, study and enjoyment of Peabody’s cultural heritage. The Society’s collections are of local and national significance and document over 300 years of the region’s history. The Society maintains eight historic properties, an extensive library and archives, and a large collection of china, textiles, furniture and fine and decorative arts. The Peabody Historical Society is a private, non-profit 501c3 organization that receives no federal, state or local funding. The Society is supported by many dedicated volunteers and members, by generous contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, and by the rental of the Smith Barn, located at the idyllic Felton-Smith Historic Site, adjacent to Peabody’s Brooksby Farm.

Peabody Institute Library Foundation

The Peabody Institute Library Foundation supports free public programming, services and spaces at the Peabody Institute Library. These include STEAM learning support in the Library's Makerspace, free concerts, art instruction, lectures, concerts, and other library activities that are provided free to the public.
