Who Are We?
Our programs are based on the Formula for Impact, which has three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. The programs we are committed to operate are: Project Learn, Power Hour (Homework Help), Junior Staff Training Program, Torch and Keystone Clubs (leadership clubs for youth and teens, respectively), Youth of the Year, Fine Arts Exhibit, Digital Arts Festival, SMART Moves (prevention programs), NetSmartz (internet safety course), Triple Play (healthy body, mind and soul), and Healthy Habits (nutrition and health programs) These programs are delivered to the youth we serve while using the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Youth Development Strategy, which is to instill all members with a sense of belonging. What makes the Boys & Girls Clubs unlike any other is that NO child is ever turned away. No matter their financial status. We offer scholarships to all those in need.
We are a community-based, character building, youth development organization. We deliver the highest quality programs and provide opportunities to assist youth and teens in developing their self-esteem, values, and skills in a fun and safe environment. Our professionals guide members through personal, educational, and social development to realize their full potential and become positive, value-oriented, and productive citizens.
