One Small Step has openings on its Advisory Board for individuals with experience in areas of legal, human resources, business, retail, or capital campaigns. This is a one year commitment that may be renewed. Clothes Cabin needs outgoing volunteers to help clients register and select clothing for their family members. Will also restock racks and hang clothes. Some computer skills necessary for registration and check-out. Kind heart and compassion required. Spanish fluency a plus. Hours needed: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 9 to noon or noon to 3.

Clothes Cabin is currently seeking volunteers to provide support in our resale shop, Friends Resale Boutique. The Boutique Sales Associate will assist with sales (cashier and customer assistance), display and maintenance, sorting donations, preparation and pricing.

All proceeds from Friends Resale Boutique benefit Clothes Cabin, which provides free clothing and household linens to families and individuals in need. Make an amazing impact helping needy families, join our team today!

We are looking for volunteers to work a regular shift one day a week for 2-4 hours a week. A few hours a week makes a tremendous difference.

Work one day a week! We will work with you on a schedule that meets your needs.

Tuesdays-Saturdays 10AM-2PM or partial shifts if preferred.

Volunteers must be good at customer service and able to handle financial transactions.

Thursdays 10-2 or Mondays 10-2, or Tuesdays 12-3, or Wednesdays 12-3 Donated clothes must be examined, sorted, steamed, hung, and/or stored. Volunteers who work in the processing area are responsible for insuring quality and presenting the clothes in an attractive way. You would also be restocking the racks and baskets in the shopping area.
