Clothes Cabin is currently seeking volunteers to provide support in our resale shop, Friends Resale Boutique. The Boutique Sales Associate will assist with sales (cashier and customer assistance), display and maintenance, sorting donations, preparation and pricing.

Our HDM program provides meals to homebound elderly and disabled participants. We need volunteers to help deliver meals M-F from 9:30 am -12:00 pm and 11:30 am – 2:00 pm. Whether you’re available once a month, once a week, or on an emergency basis your help is appreciated. Volunteers use their own vehicles and are reimbursed for mileage. Friday Seed Librarians are the faces of our new Seed Library! We're looking for energetic, passionate volunteers to help get the word out and engage our clients.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
· Setting up table and signage before clients enter.

· Helping clients select seeds that they can grow soon, either in a house or an apartment.
· Repackaging seeds, as needed.
· Recording client contact information and checkout items accurately.
· Screening incoming donations for quality.

An excellent candidate will be:
· Friendly! Has a smile almost plastered on their face.
· Passionate! Do we have to stop you from talking about seeds, gardening, or the benefits of growing food? YES!
· Able to keep control of a busy area, redirecting non-participating clients to the next table, keeping the processes moving.
· Available. Has room in regular schedule to volunteer 5 hours per week, every other week, or monthly, on a fixed schedule, vacations not withstanding.
· Committed. Ready to take ownership in a long-term role – doesn’t need to be forever, but wouldn’t mind hanging out with us for 6 months or more.
Optional skills (not required):
· Maricopa county gardening experience, or similar climate. YES!
· Indoor or patio gardener? YES!

Long Term Food Sorting Volunteers |

We're looking for volunteers that want to make a routine commitment to their community, socialize with other volunteers, and keep active, while helping to feed the hungry in Arizona. Routine volunteers quickly become experts and process foods 2 to 3 times more efficiently than new volunteers! We love our regulars!
How long is a long-term commitment? It's as long as you want it to be, but generally at least 6 months of weekly activity. Volunteer 4-20 hours a week, you decide.
Great for winter visitors, summers off, retirees, parents with kids at school.

We allow groups of 10 people or less to volunteer with our children on a one time basis. All volunteers must be 16 years or older, and volunteers are not allowed to bring their children.
We have opportunities to work with our Middlers (ages 4-7) or Big Kids (ages 8-11). Groups are welcome to the Center on Wednesday or Saturday nights 6-7pm.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and commit to coming in once a week for a 2 hour shift.
