Alzheimer Society is the leading nationwide health charity for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington works to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia, their family and friends, and the general public by providing support, education, and resources in the Waterloo Wellington community. Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington amalgamated in 2014 from there Alzheimer Societies of Cambridge,Guelph Wellington, and Kitchener Waterloo.

We are constructing over 250,000 sq. ft. of new space, and renovating our existing structure. The Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMHF) is a registered public Charitable Foundation that raises funds for medical equipment, infrastructure and continuing education at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Since it was established in 1982, the Foundation has raised million of dollars in support of Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH).

Home Hospice Association|The Bello Project

The Bello Project is a service, under the umbrella of the Home Hospice Association, that provides volunteers to go into the homes of terminally ill pet people and help with the care of their animals in the home. The Bello Project works alongside humane societies and rescues to provide new homes for animals that have lost their pet parents, once the time has come, but until that time comes we aim to keep the pet and pet parent united for as long as possible. We are a non-profit registered Canadian Charity working in communities to help people with terminal illness.

HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre

Until a cure for cancer is found, those facing the diagnosis need a source of support & information in order to cope with the challenges. Since 1995 HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre has offered free individual and group programs and services to people living with cancer and their families. Langs

Langs (formerly Langs Farm Village Association) was established as a community development project in 1978 by a group of citizens and service providers concerned about vandalism and the lack of accessible services in the community. These individuals believed that the establishment of a community-based organization would play a positive and preventative role in the neighbourhood. Langs is a neighbourhood based organization, but has become so much more! Langs has grown to become a dynamic, respected multi-service organization that uses a community development approach to provide comprehensive health, social and recreational services that are responsive to the changing needs of our community.

Nutrition for Learning has been a registered charitable organization since 1997. We support community based nutrition programs committed to improving the learning capacity, health and well being of children and youth in Waterloo Region. Research has proven that students coming to school hungry do not perform well in the classroom, have difficulty concentrating, display behavioral problems, are less alert and are often lethargic. Our programs impact the physical, cognitive, behavioral and academic needs of children and youth in Waterloo Region.

Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre

Therapeutic riding & therapeutic recreation greatly enrichs the lives of young people and adults with both phyiscal & developmental needs, by empowering them to achieve new goals. Using animals as facilitators, it creates a magical connection! Children & adults in these programs themselves, discovering abilities they did not know they had. Our students know that Sunrise is a "belonging place", where they can just be themselves.

Sunrise is a nationally accredited Therapeutic Riding Centre, providing year-round therapeutic riding lessons, taught by certified instructors, to individuals with a wide range of special needs. Telecare Cambridge Distress Center

Telecare Cambridge is your local distress centre serving Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and surrounding areas since 1981. Trained volunteers are available to take your calls 24/7. Our mission is to provide active listening and emotional support so individuals in the community do not have to suffer in silence. Telecare Cambridge exists to provide emergency crisis intervention, suicide prevention, emotional support and referrals to community services; over the phone, to individuals in Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, Waterloo and surrounding areas, through empowering our callers to make their own decisions and to problem solve. The Arthritis Society - Grand River Region

The Arthritis Society is Canad'a principla health charity providing vital information and programs to the millions of Canadians with arthritis. Since 1948, The Society has invested more than $170 million towards innovative research to search for the causes of, and better treatments for, arthritis. This investment is also used to train rheumatologists, ensuring Canadians can receive the specialized care they need. Thanks to advanced treatments and diagnoses, people diagnosed with arthritis today are often spared obvious disability; but, until a cure is found, the work fo The Arthritis Society will continue.
