Children who struggle with physical and emotional health issues, and do not have their basic needs met, are unable to focus on learning. The Family Resource Center removes barriers to student access to doctors, dentists, therapists, rental and utility assistance and healthy food. We do this by helping families to make and pay for appointments, arranging transportation and teaching parenting and cooking classes. We also help families to imagine the self-sufficient future that they want, and to set goals around how to get there.
